The families

Your clips are filmed by households, on their own phones, in their own homes. Some of the people filming are teenagers. Everything about how a child takes part is set by a parent, and most of it is enforced in the app before a clip ever leaves the house.

The app

Households film with ND GO, a free app for Android and iOS. It recognises everyday objects, suggests the task to perform, records a short video-only clip, and scores it on the device before uploading.

ND GO does not collect your location — the app declares no location permission, so your device is never even asked, and our servers discard any location field sent to them. It does not record audio: clips are video-only and the app declares no microphone permission.

Children take part only through a parent

Nobody under 18 can register directly, and nobody under 13 can take part at all. A parent creates the child's account, verifies their own identity, and decides which of the tasks on the board their child may film.

A supervised child account cannot record or upload anything until it is linked to a verified parent. The child can only work on tasks Node Data has reviewed as suitable for children and that their own parent has assigned to them. Every clip waits for the parent’s approval before it is published or paid.

Three permissions, given separately

This is the part that matters most to you as a buyer: a clip filmed by a child is only ever delivered to you if the parent has granted both sharing and AI training at the moment of delivery.

Recording. That the child may record and that we may store the clips. Without this the child cannot capture anything at all. Sharing. That a clip the parent has approved may be delivered to the company whose task it was recorded for. AI training. That the company receiving the clip may use it to train and develop physical-AI and robotics models.

The rules we hold ourselves to

A child account can't do anything on its own. You approve every clip before anyone sees it. Faces are rejected automatically. No audio, ever. Location is never requested and never stored. Money goes to you, not to your child. Tasks are suggested, never assigned.

Your child does not work for Node Data. This is not employment and your child is not our employee or contractor. Tasks are optional, there is no schedule, no quota and no obligation to complete anything once started.

What a household is paid

$1.00 of every $2.50 accepted clip goes to the household that filmed it. For a child's clip it is paid to the parent, never to the child.

Your child never sees a cash figure and never has a payout button. They see how many of their clips were accepted.

Describe the task. Households film it in real homes, every clip is graded against published criteria, and you pay only for the ones that pass.
